Job Description:

Mentalix, Inc., a Dallas-based biometrics solutions company, is seeking a qualified individual for product assembly/development related tasks related to Mentalix’s patented robotic document feeder in Mentalix’s Plano Office. We are looking for a responsible, motivated person with supporting skills and/or experience who is willing to assist in assembly, documentation, operation, and test on a part-time basis. Job duties can expand, depending on the company’s needs and your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assigned hardware development/support tasks/projects based on skill set, experience level and technical abilities
• Assemble, test, and document Mentalix robotic document feeder systems.
• Use 3-D printing software to print various components of Mentalix’s proprietary solution.
• Manage personal time schedule and report on regular basis on activity progress
• Work in small business team environment with emphasis on thorough communication. Develop cross-job competency skills to supplement assisting other departments in company or enabling expediting of objectives by satisfying dependent needs normally assigned to other departments.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate pursuing or having a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• Must pass a thorough fingerprint-based national criminal background check.
• Arduino experience is desirable
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with others in business environment
• Responsible and enthusiastic work ethic
• Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
• Strong verbal communication skills with personable relationship development skills with clear English speaking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively inside and outside the company, collaborate with others, and demonstrate high integrity
