Job Description:
Mentalix, Inc., a Dallas-based fingerprint software company, is seeking qualified individual to takeover the position of lead development and support specialist for its current line of Fed Submit products. Fed Submit is a full-featured biometric capture and management solution for end use customers in law enforcement and criminal justice.
Responsibilities:
- Develop proficiency with existing product codebase to isolate and fix issues, develop new functionality, and otherwise support all aspects of Fed Submit product line.
- Provide elevated technical support to backup direct customer support interactions and be able to investigate and resolve software issues.
- Communicate effectively with management, technical support representatives, customers and other associated parties.
- Provide on emergency and backup basis, customer onsite support when needed primarily in Texas, but also possibly to additional out of state locations.
- Master all of the activities performed by technical support personnel to apply in a technical support backup and/or emergency role.
- Work in a small business team environment with emphasis on thorough communication. Develop cross-job competency skills to supplement assisting other departments in company or enabling expediting of objectives by satisfying dependent needs normally assigned to other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Required)
- WPF: 2+ years (Required)
- VB/C# .NET, Visual Studio: 2+ years (Required)
- SQL Database: 1+ years (Required)
- Azure: (Preferred)
- Android development experience (Desired)
- Microsoft Certifications for above competencies (Strongly Preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with others in business environment
- Responsible and enthusiastic work ethic
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
- Strong verbal communication skills with personable relationship development skills with clear English speaking skills.

- Light lifting and physical skills needed for equipment move/setup, shipping, etc.
